Security supervisor

JOB OVERVIEW The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day security operations at FAENA ensuring the safety of guests employees and resort assets The role supervises security officers monitors patrols and surveillance systems responds to incidents and enforces safety procedures while maintaining a discreet professional approach aligned with ultra-luxury hospitality standards DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise daily security operations across assigned resort areas Lead and monitor security officers during patrols shifts and post assignments Ensure all access points entrances and restricted areas are properly controlled Monitor CCTV systems alarm systems and security equipment to detect and respond to incidents Respond promptly to security incidents disturbances and emergencies Report and document incidents accurately and elevate issues to the Security Manager when necessary Conduct regular inspections of resort premises to identify safety or security risks Enforce resort security policies procedures and access control standards Assist in managing VIP guest security arrangements when required Support crowd control and safety measures during events peak periods and special operations Coordinate with Front Office Engineering Housekeeping and other departments for operational security needs Ensure proper handover between shifts and maintain accurate logbook records Conduct toolbox talks and briefings for security staff at the start of shifts Ensure all security personnel are properly groomed trained and following standards Assist in emergency response situations including evacuations and drills Monitor contractor vendor and visitor access to ensure compliance with security procedures Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all guest and operational matters SKILLS Strong leadership and ability to supervise and guide security teams Excellent observation and situational awareness skills Ability to respond quickly and effectively to incidents and emergencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good report writing and documentation abilities Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills High level of integrity discretion and professionalism Ability to enforce policies firmly while maintaining guest-focused service standards Strong teamwork and coordination with multiple departments Physical fitness and ability to perform patrol duties when required PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas Ability to move safely in uneven terrain or in confined spaces Remain active constantly moving or prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer throughout work shift Medium Work Exerting up to 20kg of force occasionally and or 10kg of force frequently and or up to 5kg of constantly moving objects may occasionally lift and or move up to 15kg QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED High school diploma required; diploma or degree in Security Management, Criminology, or related field preferred. 3 5 years of experience in security operations, preferably in hospitality, luxury hotels, or large-scale resorts. Prior experience in a supervisory security role is highly preferred. Basic certifications in first aid, fire safety, or emergency response are an advantage. Knowledge of CCTV systems, access control, and security procedures. Familiarity with local safety regulations and compliance standards.
