Job Description

Waad Academy is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and general upkeep of the school's facilities. This includes managing daily operations, coordinating with external vendors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and supporting the overall learning environment. Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance, safety, and general upkeep of the school's facilities. Manage daily operations and coordinate with external vendors. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Support the overall learning environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial), Business Administration, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role. Experience in high‑volume environments (e.g., schools, hospitals, malls) is essential. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to oversee and motivate a diverse team. Familiarity with operational challenges in educational or public institutions, as well as safety and compliance standards for public spaces.
