This senior role leads project controls, planning, schedule assurance, business intelligence, and performance reporting during the construction phase. The Associate Director will bring together schedule, cost, risk, change, procurement, commercial, quality, and construction information to provide senior management with accurate analysis and clear visibility of project performance. Oversee development and management of the master program schedule. Maintain schedule quality through effective logic, progress measurement, critical-path analysis, and baseline control. Monitor planned versus actual progress, key milestones, delays, risks, and emerging performance trends. Review contractor and consultant schedules, progress updates, recovery plans, and performance reports. Provide early warnings and recommendations concerning schedule, cost, risk, and project delivery issues. Oversee weekly, monthly, and executive-level progress reporting. Develop business-intelligence dashboards, key performance indicators, trend reports, and management presentations. Maintain the accuracy and consistency of project information and ensure reports are submitted on time. Integrate information received from schedule, cost, risk, change, procurement, commercial, quality, and construction teams. Assess the impact of changes, variations, design development, procurement delays, and construction issues. Oversee delay analysis, time-impact assessments, recovery planning, and mitigation strategies. Monitor contractor and consultant performance against approved programs and contractual obligations. Lead project performance-review meetings and communicate significant issues to senior management. Maintain project-control systems, dashboards, registers, and reporting procedures. Provide leadership, direction, and mentoring to planning, reporting, and project-controls teams. Support management decisions through reliable analysis, forecasting, and performance recommendations. What Required Skills You 'll Bring Bachelor 's degree in Engineering. Minimum 15 years of experience in construction. Proven experience on large and complex construction projects during the construction phase. Strong background in project controls, planning, schedule assurance, progress reporting, and program management. Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel. Experience working with project-management information systems. Experience with Power BI or similar business-intelligence and reporting platforms. Knowledge of cost control, risk management, change management, delay analysis, and commercial reporting. Strong leadership, analytical, communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills. Role Purpose The Associate Director will provide senior leadership across project controls, planning, business intelligence, and reporting. The position is responsible for ensuring that project performance, costs, risks, delays, changes, and key delivery matters are accurately monitored and communicated. By combining project data with schedule analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting, the role will provide senior management with the information required to understand project status and make informed delivery decisions.
