Position Summary: Hilal Technology is seeking an experienced, highly technical, and skilled Datacenter Infrastructure Deployment Engineer to join our growing team onsite in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this critical hardware infrastructure and datacenter provisioning role, you will be the driving force behind provisioning, installing, scaling, and maintaining our physical data center architecture—spanning high-performance servers, enterprise storage arrays, and robust routing/switching networking environments. You will work closely with cross-functional IT operations, network engineering, and facilities teams to guarantee high availability, optimal hardware performance, and strict adherence to enterprise infrastructure standards. Detailed Job Description: As a Datacenter Infrastructure Deployment Engineer at Hilal Technology in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, you will take full ownership of physical data center build‑outs, server rack‑and‑stack operations, structured cabling, and hardware lifecycle management. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities encompass installing high‑density servers, configuring enterprise storage arrays, deploying top‑of‑rack (To R) and end‑of‑row (Eo R) network switches, and managing power distribution units (PDUs) and thermal cooling thresholds. You will execute hardware diagnostics, troubleshoot server and network component failures, coordinate equipment deliveries with vendors, and maintain meticulous asset inventories and rack elevation diagrams. Working in a fast‑paced enterprise data center environment, you will drive infrastructure scaling initiatives, enforce data center security policies, and ensure flawless execution of all deployment projects. Key Responsibilities: Provision, install, rack, stack, and cable physical servers, blade enclosures, and enterprise storage arrays. Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot top‑of‑rack (To R) switches, patch panels, fiber optic links, and structured cabling. Manage data center power distribution units (PDUs), monitor electrical load balancing, and track thermal cooling metrics. Execute rigorous hardware diagnostics, firmware updates, BIOS configurations, and component replacements. Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date asset inventories, rack elevation layouts, and infrastructure documentation. Coordinate equipment logistics, RMA replacements, and vendor service visits with hardware manufacturers. Ensure strict adherence to physical security protocols, data center safety standards, and cabling best practices. Collaborate with network engineering, systems administration, and facilities teams to plan capacity expansions. Troubleshoot and resolve physical layer network outages and hardware performance bottlenecks promptly. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field. 3+ years of professional hands‑on experience in data center infrastructure deployment, hardware maintenance, or systems engineering. Strong practical expertise in server rack‑and‑stack, structured cabling (Cat6/Fiber), and cable management standards. Deep technical familiarity with enterprise server hardware (Dell, HPE, Cisco UCS) and storage architectures. Solid understanding of data center networking concepts, VLANs, routing, switching, and optical transceiver modules. Working knowledge of power distribution, UPS systems, HVAC thermal management, and environmental monitoring. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional communication skills. Professional availability for full‑time onsite deployment in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
