Resident engineer

(HCO) is a leading multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm in Saudi Arabia, providing integrated architectural, engineering, planning, and project management consultancy services. We deliver comprehensive solutions that support clients throughout the entire project lifecycle. We are currently seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to join our team for the in Al Ula . Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise all construction activities related to water storage tanks and associated infrastructure works. Act as the primary site representative and coordinate with contractors, consultants, clients, and relevant stakeholders. Review drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions. Monitor construction progress against the approved programme and project requirements. Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and applicable codes. Coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and utility interfaces. Monitor site inspections, testing, commissioning, and quality control activities. Identify technical issues, construction risks, delays, and non-conformities and ensure timely resolution. Monitor contractor performance, HSE compliance, and corrective actions. Review progress reports, site documentation, RFIs, NCRs, and project records. Support testing, commissioning, project closeout, and final handover. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline. Minimum 15 years of relevant construction and infrastructure experience. Strong experience in water storage tanks, water infrastructure, utilities, or similar projects. Previous PMC/consultancy experience is highly preferred. Strong construction supervision and multidisciplinary coordination experience. Experience reviewing technical submissions, drawings, method statements, and contractor documentation. Strong knowledge of QA/QC, HSE, testing, commissioning, and handover requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
