Resident systems engineer

We are hiring a Resident Systems Engineer with mandatory banking operations experience. You will drive the design, deployment, and migration of Forti Gate and Forti Sandbox solutions while securing network environments. Requires 2+ years of Fortinet experience and relevant certifications. Involve in the deployment and migration of the new Forti Gate platforms. Support the deployment, clustering, and integration of Forti Sandbox. Involve in the implementation of Forti Sandbox solution Ensure the security, availability, and performance of the firewall and advanced threat-protection environment. Coordinate with network, cybersecurity, SOC, application, and infrastructure teams. Participate in reviewing the FW policies. Day-to-day operations. Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 2 or 3+ years of experience. Experience in banking operations is mandatory. Strong hands-on experience with Forti Gate deployment, migration, administration, and troubleshooting. Strong hands-on experience with Forti Sandbox deployment and integration. Strong knowledge of firewall policies, NAT, routing, HA, security profiles, and network segmentation. Experience integrating Forti Gate with Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer, and Forti Sandbox. Strong knowledge of networking and cybersecurity principles. Experience in preparing HLD, LLD, migration plans, test plans, and implementation documents. Relevant Fortinet certifications are preferred. Good communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills. Job Description: Assess the existing Forti Gate architecture, policies, routing, NAT, HA, capacity, and integrations. Participate in design workshops and prepare HLD, LLD, migration plans, runbooks, and functional test plans. Deploy and configure the new Forti Gate firewall clusters. Migrate firewall policies, objects, routing, NAT, and HA configurations. Integrate the new firewalls with Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer. Develop cutover, rollback, and post-migration validation procedures. Execute migrations during approved maintenance windows. Deploy and configure Forti Sandbox appliances or virtual machines. Configure Forti Sandbox clusters for high availability and load sharing. Integrate Forti Sandbox with Forti Manager and Forti Web. Configure malware-analysis policies, file-submission rules, inspection rules, and Advanced Threat Protection. Perform functional testing, performance tuning, and security validation. Troubleshoot implementation, migration, connectivity, and security issues. Provide post-migration support and operational monitoring.
